APOCALYPSE: A BILL CALLAHAN TOUR FILM
Screening for a limited run 17 – 22 April.
A strikingly shot concert documentary following singer-songwriter, and lo-fi poioneer Bill Callahan on a two-week tour from California to New York.
At the start of 2011, The Bioscope opened up the adjoining restaurant and craft beer bar Chalkboard. With walls and table tops that are writable chalkboards, the space can be used for anything from brainstorming ideas in a meeting, artistic expression, or just general doodling.
Open everyday from 11am till late, Chalkboard is able to provide a range of pizzas, craft beers, coffee and bagels that are quick to receive and not too expensive. The large tables and strong coffee make it perfect for out of office meetings. At night or during screenings, Chalkboard doubles up as the ticketing office and lobby bar for The Bioscope, where all pizzas, craft beers, and coffees can be taken into the movie.
