With our new increase in screenings, comes the addition of this exciting new series. Cinema Meets Culture comprises of three different kinds of screenings; Cinema Meets Dance, Cinema Meets Opera, and lastly Cinema Meets Opera Legends in Concert. The series will encapsulate
everything from classic operas like Carmen, to one of the worlds greatest ballet companies
performing Cinderella to live concerts that include Pavarotti and The Three Tenors.

The Bioscope FILM + SCHOOL Series is a film awareness and appreciation initiative by the Bioscope Independent Cinema in partnership with the Goethe-Institut South Africa. The central aims of the initiative are to introduce young learners to the art of filmmaking, to spark interest in a wide range of topics and to encourage discussion.
