The Bioscope, and our new friends Jo and Kris have taken the liberty of representing South Africa and we will be hosting this 2011/2012 Future Shorts Global Film Festival. The Future Shorts Festival is the first ever global pop-up festival, showcasing the most exciting short films from around the world.

The internationally acclaimed documentary film PUNK IN AFRICA will make its first appearance in local cinemas this month. Directed by Keith Jones and Deon Maas, the film will be screened at the Labia Cinema on Orange in Cape Town on 17 January and the Bioscope in Johannesburg from 20-27 January.
