The Bioscope is proud to launch its first DOC LOVE with a sneak preview of the much anticipated film by Adi Loveland Unhinged: Surviving Joburg. Remember DOC LOVE is the showing of a nearly completed documentary, and so this is the chance to see it first, and help make it better!

DOC LOVE is a DFA (Documentary Filmmakers Association) initiative to promote the genre of documentary and create a platform for aspiring documentary makers, docy-lovers and veteran documentary producers and directors to meet, view and discuss documentary films that are still works in progress.
The screenings will be held regularly, right here at the Bioscope at Arts on Main in down town Johannesburg, and will be the ideal place to network for all those involved in the genre of documentary. Showing in what will soon become our permanent home on the ground floor of Main Street Life.
The event is a fund raiser in order to get the film’s director over to Paris, after the film has been selected to show there. So The Bioscope and Main Street Life stepped in to try lend a hand. More info to follow.
