Its the North of France, Sainte-Gudule, in 1977. Suzanne is the submissive, housebound wife of wealthy industrialist Robert Pujol, who oversees his umbrella factory with an iron fist and is equally tyrannical with his children and ‘trophy housewife’. The Bioscope is proud to host the premiere of “Vivid Memories of Scooters” a documentary by Durban filmmaker and music video director Michael Cross about 90s rock band Scooters Union. The night will then end with a live performance by former Scooters frontman Rhys Johnstone. Rhys will be performing brand new material as well as a few tracks from his time with seminal Durban bands Underground Press and Scooters Union.
